  • Furniture Project Manager - Dallas

    Come join our Project Management team and be part of one of the leading contract furniture dealerships in the Metroplex!  Our Project Managers have the opportunity to bring the customers’ vision to reality.  They are highly involved in projects from start to finish.  They work closely with the Sales Associate, Project Coordinator and Designer, and often times, the customer or customers’ general contractor, to facilitate all aspects of the installation.

    Our Project Managers are resourceful, professional and have hustle.  They will simultaneously manage multiple projects from order acceptance through final punch list.  They are organized, can manage priorities, work well independently or as part of a team, trouble-shoot issues, solve problems and create extraordinary customer experiences.

    If you are self-disciplined, outgoing, intuitive and effective at facilitating information, we want to talk with you! This role requires exceptional attention to detail while overseeing multiple jobs with various deadlines.   Excellent communication skills are required both verbally and in writing. 

    Candidates should have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in project management, or construction preferred.  Experience in project management, especially in contract furniture, preferred; knowledge of Knoll is a big plus.

    The position of Interior Construction Healthcare Sales Champion represents DIRTT Environmental Solutions products and services.  You are on the front lines challenging the normal, yet old ways of constructing in the healthcare environment.  Your background in sales and your knowledge of interior construction pave the way to share the news about DIRTT’s highly customizable, sustainable architectural interiors that can be reconfigured easily to meet changing space planning and working environment needs.  DIRTT’s smart construction brings efficiencies to the medical world.  DIRTT supports all healthcare space needs, from isolation rooms to urgent care facilities.  Hospital-grade finishes help lower infection transfer.  Wipeable surfaces leave minimal space for germs to hide.

    • Introduce new offerings to existing markets and clients in creative ways that highlight the value proposition
    • Prioritize opportunities and create go-to-market plans with stakeholder input
    • Prepare and run sales presentations and client tours

    We are seeking a stellar Project Coordinator to facilitate and manage the details of our exciting projects.

    In this role, you will work closely with the account manager, designers and project managers to capture the project scope, generate proposals, calculate and confirm pricing, work with general contractors on job site requirements, produce invoicing and more.

    The successful candidate will be resourceful, professional, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs. Experience in a similar role, and having an understanding of the construction industry is highly preferred.

  • Interior Construction Project Manager - Dallas

    Our Construction Project Managers will simultaneously manage multiple projects from order acceptance through final punch list. From the time the order is accepted through to the last site check, the Construction Project Manager will protect our clients’ interests by ensuring what they asked for is delivered.  The Project Managers must represent our business interests on job sites ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish.

    • Ensure site measurements are accurate for order
    • Have an understanding of all local code requirements including construction, millwork, and power/data
    • Bid and select installation subcontractor
    • Manage job site costs through RFI/change order processes
    • Work with accounting to ensure projects are billed accurately through SOV processes.

GL Seaman & Company has been a leading contract furniture dealer in North Texas since 1984, and is among the top four largest Knoll dealers in North America. In 2006, we became a DIRTT Distribution Partner enabling us to add prefabricated, interior construction to our portfolio of solutions. As a full service dealer with our own in-house installation team, we work with many of the area's best known commercial, government and healthcare customers and their design firms to create workspaces that are beautiful, functional, efficient and affordable.
