Keeping Things Green
Recycling and waste reduction are a priority for us. We ensure that at least 70% of all products sold meet the ANSI BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard, and that shipping cartons and pallets are repurposed. We have also supported ZERO Landfill, a program designed to divert items from landfills.
Thousands of cardboard shipping cartons, wood pallets and wood packaging materials pass through GL Seaman’s warehouse each month. We recognize this is an area where our choices can make an impact.
We have invested in the machinery and training to ensure we always:
Recycle 100% of unlaminated cardboard cartons
Reuse 100% of wood packaging and pallets
Recycle 100% of metals
